Payload interfaces
The mount between the drone and whatever it carries. One interface on the payload, a matched adapter on each aircraft, so the same camera or sensor moves between airframes in seconds.

Carriage and release
Hardware that carries sealed packages, supplies and sensor packs under the aircraft and lets them go on command. It holds and releases; it never acts on what it carries.
